Collaboration, Comments and Presentations
Scheme is designed as a real-time collaboration tool. You can invite peers and coworkers to work inside of your Space with you, as either an Editor or Viewer. Note that all collaborators will need their own Scheme account.
Invite collaborators:
Click on the + button in the upper right corner of the screen, next to your profile icon
A “Share Space” popup will appear allowing you to invite collaborators via email, or through a sharing link
You can set collaborator permissions to either Editor or Viewer
When collaborators have accepted your invite and are actively working on your Space, you will see their profile icon in the upper right alongside yours (multiple collaborators at once will result in the profile pics being stacked). Additionally, each collaborator will be assigned a color and you will see their mouse movements on the screen in real-time, as well as seeing changes they make (for Editors).
Chatting
Collaborators can chat inside of a Space, which can include emojis.
Adding a chat message:
Click on the downward arrow in the upper right of the screen
Leave a chat message that everyone in the Space can view (note that chat messages cannot currently be deleted or edited once posted)
Presentations
Presentations in Scheme are a way to – in real-time - share either your entire Space or certain Nodes in your Space to viewers even if they do not have a Scheme account.
Create a Presentation:
In the bottom toolbar, click the Presentations icon (a video “play” icon)
A popup will appear. Click the “New Presentation” button
Name your Presentation and click the “Create” button
Your Presentation will now be listed
Adding Nodes and Clusters to a Presentation
Use the Selection tool (the left most arrow in the bottom toolbar) to select one or multiple Nodes and Clusters
Click the “Add to Presentation” icon in the left toolbar
A popup will appear. Either select an existing Presentation or create a new one and the Nodes will be added to it automatically
