Node and Cluster Actions
There are two sets of controls on every Node in Scheme that allow you to take actions directly within the Node (including Cluster Nodes).
+ Icon Controls
On the upper right corner of each Node are two icons, a pen icon for editing your Node, and a + icon that expands when hovered over to show 4 additional controls:
Add a Note Node (note icon)
Use this control to create a new Note Node with an Edge (connection) to the existing Node
Add an AI Node (Scheme logo icon)
Use this control to create a new AI Note Node with an Edge to the existing Node
Query Node Context (star icon)
This control allows you to query the Node, which will then create a new Node with a solid line Edge (as opposed to the regular dashed line), to show that the new Node is directly referencing the existing Node
Create Assessment (document icon)
When you run the Assessment control, Scheme will anaylze your Node’s content and create a multiple choice “quiz” for you or others to take.
After taking the assessment, Scheme will show your score and give feedback on incorrect answers.
The assessment can be retaken as many times as needed
The assessment itself is also a Node and all Node actions (including running an assessment on the assessment!)
3 Dots Icon Controls
On the lower right corner of each Node is an icon with 3 dots that expands when hovered over to show 5 additional controls:
Lock (lock icon)
This action pins the Node in place on the Scheme canvas
Edit (pen icon)
Edit the information in the Node
Comment (chat icon)
Leave a comment about the Node (comments cannot be edited or deleted once posted)
Delete (trash can icon)
Immediately deletes a Node (you can restore deleted Nodes with the “Undo deleted Nodes” command in the bottom toolbar)
Projects (folder icon)
Click this to bring up the Projects popup where you can add the Node to an existing Project or create a new Project to add it to
